How can I qualify for Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking?
To access Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking facility you need:
- An Intercontinental Bank account
- Internet Access with Internet Browser that supports 128 bit encryption
- Intercontinental Bank ID and Password - You will need to complete an Online Banking Agreement to identify which accounts you wish to access online. After receiving your signed agreement, an Intercontinental Bank ID and Password will be assigned.

How do I use Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking facility?
After you enter your Intercontinental Bank ID and Password on the login screen, the system displays your accounts with their corresponding balances and transactions.
If you want more detail or want to carry out a transaction, select the option from the drop down menu located on the right side of the screen.

Is Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking secure?
Yes! Our Online Banking facility employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol (to ensure all data is encrypted), industry leading firewalls, custom designed architecture and unique identifiers and passwords. All this is designed to ensure the safety of your Internet banking transactions.

How much does it cost to use Online Banking? Will the charge be reflected on my monthly statement?
There is a one-time set up fee of $25.00 and a monthly fee of $10.00, which is charged directly to your account and reflected on your monthly statement.

How do I get my Intercontinental Bank ID and Password?
Contact our Customer Service Representatives at (305) 263-7900 to make an appointment or visit the Bank at 5722 SW 8 Street, West Miami, to sign the Online Banking Agreement.
You will be issued an Intercontinental Bank ID and Password at the time you sign up for Online Banking.

Does my Internet Browser require anything special?
Your Internet Browser must have 128 bit encryption. Due to security concerns, if your browser does not have 128-bit encryption you will not be able to access Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking facility.

Why do I need to answer personal questions in order to access Online Banking?
Intercontinental Bank has incorporated a multi-factor authentication process that helps the bank verify that you are actually who you say you are.
You will be instructed to set up these personal questions when initially logging into your Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking account.
The bank will monitor your typical internet banking behavior, and if your behavior deviates from typical behavior for you, you may be asked to verify the answers to your personal questions to help the bank ensure that you are authorized to view the accounts.

What are the password requirements?
Your password must be a minimum of six (6) to a maximum of eight (8) alpha-numeric characters.

What happens if I forget my Intercontinental Bank ID or Password?
Call our Customer Service Representatives at (305) 263-7900, Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST), and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EST), and a CSR will reset your login information.

What happens if I don't log off the system?
If you get an error message please note the error message, and error number along with the time. Then simply contact the Bank at (305) 263-7900 during normal working hours and report the error to a Customer Service Representative. We will make every effort to resolve the error as soon as possible.

What happens if I get locked out of my Online Banking account?
Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking facility allows three (3) attempts to log into your account. If you are unsuccessful on all three attempts, you will get a message indicating that you have been locked out.
Your account can be unlocked by calling our Customer Service Representatives at (305) 263-7900, Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (EST), and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.(EST).
Your password will be reset to a default password, and you will be prompted to change the password the next time you log in.

What happens if I get an error message?
If you get an error message please note the error message, and error number along with the time. Then simply contact the Bank at (305) 263-7900 during normal working hours and report the error to a Customer Service Representative. We will make every effort to resolve the error as soon as possible.

How can I reset my password?
Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking Facility allows you to reset your own password. In order to activate Password Reset feature, you must first select a Password Reset Question and Answer.
Click on the Options tab and assign/type a Password Reset Question of your own choosing. Then answer the question in the Password Reset Answer area.
Once this is done, you may click on the Reset button at sign-in. The system will display the Password Reset Question and when answered correctly, it automatically sends an e-mail with a temporary password, which you use to sign-on. The system then prompts you to change your password.

Can I change my Intercontinental Bank ID and Password?
Yes, you may assign an "alias" or pseudo name as your Intercontinental Bank user ID. A word of caution though: The Intercontinental Bank user ID and password cannot begin with a number.
The password may be changed as often as you want. Simply click on the Options tab and follow the simple instructions.

Can I change the name of my Account Information?
Yes, once you are logged-in, click on the Options tab at the top of the page then click on the word “Account”.
Now you may enter a description for each of your accounts under the Account Pseudo Name fields. Click “Submit” to accept the changes.
For security reasons, we advise you not to include any actual account numbers in the description.

Can someone else view my accounts?
Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking system is very safe. We have firewalls in place and use encryption codes for all transactions to ensure safety and confidentiality. Your account information is secure.
We have taken every possible step to ensure our system meets the latest security standards and uses the most up to date software.
Unless you share your Intercontinental Bank (NetTeller) ID and Password with someone, the system will not allow unauthorized access to your accounts.

Can I view my check images online?-
Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking gives you the ability to view and print your check images online; click on the check numbers to view the images of your check. You can even “flip” the checks to view the reverse side for endorsement information.

Can I view, print and download account statements?
Yes, you can access your account statements for up to three months to view, print and download at your convenience.

How much does it cost to use Intercontinental Bank's Online Banking system?

Whether it is a Personal Checking, Commercial Checking, Intercontinental Money Market Account, IB Plus Money Market Account or our IB Personal Interest account, we’ll help you find the account that works best for you.
Personal Checking
- $1,000.00 Minimum daily Balance requirement
- Statement includes imaged checks and deposit slips
- $10.00 Monthly Service Fee plus $0.35 per item charge if balance falls below $1,000.00

Personal Interest Checking - NOW Account
- Minimum daily Balance requirement - $1,200.00
- Statement includes imaged checks and deposit slips
- $15.00 Monthly Service Fee plus $0.35 per item charge if balance falls below $1,200.00

Intercontinental Account (Money Market)
- $2,700.00 Minimum daily Balance requirement
- Statement includes imaged checks and deposit slips
- $15.00 Monthly Service Fee if balance falls below $2,700.00
- Earns Money Market rate unless balance falls below $2,700.00. If balance is less than $2,700.00 the account earns no interest.
- Three checks per month at no charge. Over three checks there is a $17.00 per occurrence charge

Intercontinental Plus Account (Money Market)
- $60,000.00 Minimum daily Balance requirement
- Statement includes imaged checks and deposit slips
- $15.00 Monthly Service Fee if balance falls below $60,000.00, If balance is less than $60,000.00 the account earns no interest.
- Earns IB Plus Money Market rate if balance is at least $300,000.00. Earns Money Market rate if balance is at least $60,000.00. Does not earn inerest if balance falls below $60,000.00
- Three checks per month at no charge. Over three checks there is a $17.00 per occurrence charge

Intercontinental Commercial Checking
